Teach Sacred Music

The Rocky Mountain Conservatory is looking for musicians, educators, and church music practitioners who love the Church's song and want to pass it on. Whether you teach privately or offer workshops, there is a place for you here.

Why Teach With Us

Your Craft. Your Terms. Our Mission.

Teaching at the Conservatory means joining a community of musicians united by a common love for sacred music and the Church. We give you the freedom to teach the way you teach best — and the support to do it well.

Faculty Incentives

What We Offer Our Teachers

We believe great teachers deserve great conditions. Here is what the Conservatory provides to every faculty member.

Curriculum Access

Full access to the Conservatory's curated sacred music curriculum — graded repertoire lists, hymn study guides, theory materials, and liturgical music resources developed specifically for Lutheran sacred music instruction.

Set Your Own Fees

You set your own lesson rates — for private lessons, group instruction, workshops, or any combination. The Conservatory does not cap your fees or take a percentage. Your rate, your income.

Set Your Own Schedule

Teach when it works for you. Whether you want a full studio of students or a handful of lessons per week alongside other work, you control your calendar through My Music Staff.

Flexible Teaching Locations

Teach from your home studio, at a partner church, online via video, or at a student's location. The Conservatory supports multiple teaching settings and can help connect you with practice space at partner churches when needed.

Faculty Network

Join a collegial network of sacred music educators, organists, choir directors, composers, and clinicians. Share resources, collaborate on projects, and build lasting professional relationships within the Lutheran music community.

Professional Development

Access workshops, masterclasses, and lectures from visiting speakers and clinicians. The Conservatory invests in its faculty's ongoing growth as musicians, teachers, and church musicians.
